go-e & ERE certificates

Some go-e models do have a built-in MID meter, so the hardware qualifies. We just can't read go-e charging data yet, so connecting isn't possible for now.

Connecting a go-e isn't possible yet

We only work with charging data we can retrieve directly and verifiably — from the charger itself or from the manufacturer — and neither route is open for go-e yet. Tell us your brand and model and we'll let you know the moment that changes — and your vote counts towards which integration Revvolt builds next.

Models

Every go-e model we know of — compatible and not — so you can find your own charger with certainty.

Compatible = built-in MID-certified meter, required for ERE registration with the NEa. "Check per unit" means it varies by production year or variant — check the type plate or email us.

With go-e, everything depends on which one you own

go-e is an Austrian brand known in the Netherlands mainly for its compact, movable chargers. Plenty of Gemini flex owners never mount it on a wall at all — it lives in the boot, with a plug on the end rather than a fixed connection. That product range is exactly why there are two very different answers to the ERE question here, and it matters a great deal which group you're in.

The Charger PRO has a built-in MID-certified meter; go-e presents that model as the version for people who need to account for the kWh they charge. The Gemini and the Gemini flex don't have that meter — not our assumption, but the manufacturer's own confirmation. For ERE registration the meter isn't a detail, it's the core rule: without assured metering inside the charge point itself, nothing can be booked, however smart the charger is. Why that requirement is so strict is covered in MID meter explained.

Own a Gemini or Gemini flex?

Then the answer is short and final: they don't qualify. No firmware update, accessory or sub-meter changes that — MID certification sits in the hardware and in the type approval of the charge point.

With the flex there's a second issue, unrelated to the meter. ERE registration is tied to one charge point on one grid connection in your name, and that link has to stay verifiable. A charger designed to travel and be plugged in wherever you happen to be sits badly with that rule — even if a MID version were ever to appear. For everyday charging without ERE, the Geminis keep doing exactly what they did; nothing changes about the charging itself.

Own a Charger PRO?

Then you have the right hardware, and we still can't connect you today. That isn't go-e's doing: the brand has one of the better-documented interfaces on the market, with a local API, a cloud API and OCPP. We just haven't built the integration, and until we do, no go-e sessions come in. Manually submitted meter readings or an export from the app are no substitute — we can't make those assured, and that's where it ends.

What you can usefully do now:

  • Record what you own. Check the type plate and your purchase documentation to confirm you really have the Charger PRO and that a MID marking is shown. That's precisely the fact that counts once a route exists.
  • Register your interest using the button on this page. You'll hear from us when something changes for go-e — and only then.
  • Buying or replacing anyway? Weigh the MID meter as a purchase criterion, and also look at brands where the data route already exists. The overview of chargers with a MID meter shows what else qualifies, and the earnings calculator indicates what registration is worth. Replacing a perfectly good go-e purely for ERE rarely adds up.

Frequently asked questions

Does the go-e Charger PRO have a MID meter?

Yes. The Charger PRO has a built-in MID-certified meter, and go-e itself designates this model as the version for anyone who needs to account for charged kWh. On the metering rules of the ERE scheme, the hardware qualifies.

Does the go-e Charger Gemini qualify for ERE registration?

No. The Gemini and the Gemini flex are not MID-certified — go-e has confirmed this itself. Without a MID-certified meter inside the charge point, nothing can be registered with the NEa.

Can a go-e Gemini be made MID-certified afterwards?

No. MID certification lives in the hardware and in the type approval of the charge point. A firmware update, an accessory or a separate sub-meter in the fuse box cannot fix it.

Why can't I connect my go-e Charger PRO yet?

Not because of the meter, and not because of go-e: the brand offers a local API, a cloud API and OCPP. We simply haven't built that integration yet, so we can't read your charge sessions.
