Connect your Ratio charger to Revvolt via OCPP
Connect your Ratio io6 Pro MID or Solar MID to Revvolt via OCPP — by yourself, in the Ratio EV Charging app. How to set it up step by step, no installer needed.

What do you need?
- A compatible Ratio with built-in MID meter (see the table below)
- The Ratio EV Charging app with your own account, phone connected to the charger via Bluetooth
- A charger that is online
How to connect your Ratio
- Start the connection in the Revvolt portal. Choose Connect charging station → Ratio. You'll see the Revvolt server address and any credentials.
- Open the OCPP settings in the Ratio app. Go to Settings (gear) → Advanced settings → OCPP settings and choose Open Charge Point Provider.
- Enter the server address. Paste the address exactly as we show it — append nothing: the charger adds its own identity. Only fill in a username/key if the portal shows one.
- Confirm the serial number in the portal. The charger announces itself within minutes; you confirm the serial number in the portal so it's linked to your account. Your sessions then flow in automatically.

Only models with a built-in MID meter qualify for EREs. Not sure? Do the charger check.
Good to know
- Your Ratio app keeps working fully: load balancing, solar charging and schedules are unaffected by the connection.
- Ratio's MID meter is factory-fitted on the board — it can't be retrofitted. If your model lacks MID, a compatible model is the only route to EREs.

Every charging session reaches us straight from the meter in your charger. Continue with registering your location to qualify for payouts.

Can I connect my Ratio myself?
Yes — Ratio is one of the easiest brands. The setting lives in the Ratio EV Charging app under Advanced settings. No installer needed.
Do my Ratio app features like solar charging keep working?
Yes. Load balancing, solar charging and schedules keep working through the Ratio app, even with your charger connected to Revvolt via OCPP.
Do I need to append anything to the server address?
No — quite the opposite. You only enter the server address we give you; the charger sends its own identity along. Afterwards you confirm the serial number in the portal so we link the charger to your account.
My Ratio has no MID meter. Can I still join?
Connecting works technically, but EREs require a built-in MID meter — for Ratio that includes the io6 Pro MID, Solar MID and io7 Double. Check your model in the charger check.
