Connect your Volt Time charger to Revvolt

Connect your Volt Time charger to Revvolt with a personal API token from the Volt Time dashboard — without sharing your password. Here's how to create the token and connect, step by step.

Do you have a Volt Time charger? Then connect it to Revvolt with a personal API token — a secure access key you create yourself in the Volt Time dashboard and can revoke at any time. You never share your password. Here's exactly how it works.

Beta — this connection is new. We manually review the first charge sessions before they count towards your EREs. No action needed on your side.

What do you need?

  • A compatible Volt Time with built-in MID meter
  • Access to the Volt Time dashboard in your browser (app.plugchoice.com) with your Volt Time account
  • A charger that is online

How to connect your Volt Time

  1. Create an API token. Sign in at app.plugchoice.com, click your name in the bottom-left corner and go to Settings → Personal Access Tokens. Create a new token and copy it — it is shown only once.
  2. Choose Volt Time in the Revvolt portal. Go to Connect charging station and select Volt Time.
  3. Paste your token and connect. We validate the token, detect your charger and read its model and serial number.
  4. Your charging history is imported. Your history for this calendar year appears right away — usually within a minute.

Which Volt Time models are eligible?

The model list is temporarily unavailable. Check your charger in the charger check

Only models with a built-in MID meter qualify for EREs. Not sure about your model? Do the charger check — you'll have an answer within a minute.

Then: what happens automatically?

We retrieve new charge sessions daily — nothing more to do. Continue with registering your location to qualify for payouts.

Frequently asked questions

Do I have to share my Volt Time password with Revvolt?

No, never. You create a personal API token yourself in the Volt Time (Plugchoice) dashboard and paste it into the portal. Your password stays with Volt Time; the token is stored encrypted.

Where do I find the token page?

Sign in at app.plugchoice.com (the Volt Time dashboard, in your browser), click your name in the bottom-left corner and go to Settings → Personal Access Tokens. Creating a new token takes one click.

The token was only shown once. Is that normal?

Yes, that's normal: Volt Time shows a token once, when it's created. Lost it? Delete the old token and simply create a new one.

Can I disconnect later?

Yes, in two ways: disconnect in the Revvolt portal, or delete the token in the Volt Time dashboard. Either way, access stops immediately.
