Connecting your Enphase charging station

Step by step guide to connect your Enphase IQ EV Charger 2 through your own Enphase account — without sharing your password.

Beta — this connection is new. We manually review the first charge sessions before they count towards your EREs. No action is needed on your side and you won't notice a thing.

Which Enphase models qualify?

ModelERE's possible?
Enphase IQ EV Charger 2✅ Yes — built-in MID meter
Older Enphase models❌ Not supported yet

You do not need Enphase solar panels: the IQ EV Charger 2 also works as a standalone charger with its own Enphase account.

What do you need?

  • Your Enphase account (the one you use in the Enphase app)
  • Your charging station must be registered in the Enphase app and online

Steps

  1. In the portal, go to Connect charger and choose Enphase.
  2. You are redirected to Enphase's own login page. Sign in there — your password stays with Enphase, we never see or store it.
  3. Enphase asks whether you want to grant us access. Approve it; we can then only read your charger and charge-session data — nothing from your solar panels or home battery.
  4. Back in the portal we automatically detect your charging station, its model and serial number, and check whether the model is MID-certified.

After that

We automatically fetch new charge sessions once a day — nothing more to do. Continue with registering your location to qualify for payouts.

Want to disconnect later? You always can: in the portal next to your charger, or directly in your Enphase account under approved applications.
